BUSINESS ECONOMICS – SERVICE MANAGEMENT FOCUSING ON LOGISTICS AND SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT

Within the Business Economics degree programme at the Stuttgart location, the Service Management (DLM) branch with an emphasis on Logistics and Supply Chain Management takes a holistic approach to logistics management in terms of (cross-company) supply chain management.

The Business Economics – Freight Forwarding, Transport and Logistics degree programme at the Lörrach location provides comprehensive fundamental business economics knowledge and offers a varied course of studies with an international focus.

DUAL SYSTEM STUDY PROGRAMM (B.ENG.) IN THE FIELD OF MECHANICAL ENGINEERING / VEHICLE SYSTEM ENGINEERING

The developers and designers of vehicles face increasingly challenging tasks. The innovation cycles have become shorter and the systems are growing increasingly more complex. In addition to interdisciplinary fundamental knowledge, a deep understanding of modern computer-aided development tools and additional qualifications from the fields of economics and management are also taught.

What you can look forward to

We cover the costs of tuition as well as for books or excursions and travel costs.

We pay a standard salary with holiday bonus and a Christmas bonus. You have 27 days of leave that you can plan yourself in consultation with your training management team.

Our flexible working-time model allows you to decide for yourself how to divide up your working time to ideally coordinate the project themes and student research projects with the tasks in the departments. With the option of mobile work, you can also work from home.

You can complete a term abroad at a partner university and gain some international experience.

Depending on the location there are various offers in the realm of company-facilitated sports activities, cooperation with fitness centres, employee events and catering services in the canteen.

How we support you

In the practical phase, you get to know the various specialist areas. From the first practical day, you will be fully integrated into the daily work routine of your department and work on challenging projects. The professional trainers are there to help you at any time should you have any questions.

We train a number of students every year who are in close contact with the students in advanced semesters as well as with the training management. You will complete your practical phases at different business sectors and locations. The specialist support for the departments works with you to choose the topics for your project work and dissertation.

We provide you with a laptop that you can use during the entire duration of your studies.

We are almost always able to make our successful graduates an exciting and suitable offer for a permanent position.

One of our prime concerns is the acquisition of new recruits, both among our ranks of experts and of managers, and the company management promotes this.

We offer you the option of a specialist or management career following your studies and support you should you wish to complete your postgraduate studies or any other training programme.

During your studies, the training management performs regular feedback discussions with you to explore your impressions from the practical phases and give you qualified feedback on your performance and possibilities for improvement.

Study trips, location visits or excursions are undertaken to broaden the horizons of the trainees and students and promote a sense of community in the Group.
