Through responsible corporate governance, the MOSOLF management forms the foundation for the success of the group. By their personal commitment and expertise, the managers always support the concerns of the group’s staff. The management board of MOSOLF Group is split up into various divisions.

Chairman of the board

Dr. Jörg Mosolf

Dr Jörg Mosolf is the spokesman of the management board (CEO). As a managing partner, he heads the areas of Corporate Strategy, Marketing, Public Relations, Compliance, Mergers & Acquisition and Business Development.

Dr Jörg Mosolf (born in 1956) is a Certified Freight Forwarding Agent and can look back on over 30 years of experience in the logistics industry. After completing his MBA in St. Gallen, he did his doctorate at the University of Prague. He gathered experience in London and within various branches of the MOSOLF Group. Since 2002, Dr Jörg Mosolf has been working at the company headquarters in Kirchheim unter Teck.

Dr Jörg Mosolf is also a member of the executive committee of the German Transport Forum (DVF).

HEAD OF SPECIAL VEHICLES & DEPUTY CHAIRMAN

Gregory Hancke

Gregory Hancke is member of the management board of the MOSOLF Group and responsible for the Special Vehicles business unit. IT (incl. Cyber – & Data Security), Data protection and Risk Management are also a part of his task field.

Gregory Hancke (born in 1964) obtained a degree in business administration at a university of applied science before starting his career in the logistics industry in 1992 as works manager at a subsidiary of the MOSOLF Group, where he took over as managing director in 1995. He subsequently held various management positions within the MOSOLF Group before moving to Smart GmbH in 1999, where his last position was Sales Director. In 2004 he moved to Daimler AG in the Global Service and Parts division. In 2005 he returned to the MOSOLF Group as managing director and Chief Operating Officer.

HEAD OF LOGISTICS & SERVICES

Wolfgang Göbel

Wolfgang Göbel is a member of the MOSOLF Group’s Executive Board and is responsible for the Logistics & Services business unit as well as the Carcenter (Sales) and CAT MOSOLF Polska Logistics (Sales) subsidiaries. His main areas of responsibility include sales, freight forwarding, network development, sustainability, occupational safety, quality management and insurance.

Born in 1963, Wolfgang Göbel began his professional career over 40 years ago as a trainee at MOSOLF. After completing his commercial training and spending two years as an assistant to the sales management, he began studying economics at Nürtingen University of Applied Sciences. Immediately afterwards, he took on management roles in sales/marketing and logistics, thus assuming responsibility for key areas of the company at an early stage.

Wolfgang Göbel is also president of the Association of European Vehicle Logistics (ECG) since the end of May 2016.

Chief Financial Officer

Dr. Kersten Ruoss

Dr. Kersten Ruoss is Chief Financial Officer of the MOSOLF Group. His scope of duties includes finance and accounting, controlling, treasury, HR, legal  and purchasing. Furthermore, Kersten Ruoss is responsible for the holding ETECTURE.

Dr Kersten Ruoss (born in 1974) holds a doctorate in business administration and has a CINA (Certificate in International Accounting). He started his career in tax and business consulting for medium-sized companies. Before taking up the position of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) on 1 December 2016, he already worked for the MOSOLF Group in Internal Audit and as managing director of subsidiary companies.

Patrick Oestreich

With Patrick Oestreich (46) – member of the Executive Board since 1 February 2026 – the MOSOLF Group has gained an internationally experienced manager who stands for operational excellence, customer focus, cooperation and innovative strength.

On 1 July 2026, Patrick Oestreich will take over the role of CEO from Dr Jörg Mosolf, who will step down from the Executive Board on 30 June 2026.

With over 20 years of experience in the logistics and transport industry, he most recently served as Chief Commercial Officer, leading global business development at Hellmann Worldwide Logistics, where he was responsible for sales and marketing functions as well as customer retention. Prior to that, he held senior positions at XPO Logistics, Inc. in Strategy, Sales & Account Management and at DB Schenker as Senior Vice President Road Brokerage Europe.

His expertise includes implementing strategic projects, promoting innovation, optimising operational processes, sustainable growth and strengthening collaboration between teams and stakeholders. This puts Oestreich in an ideal position to consistently drive forward the MOSOLF Group’s growth and internationalisation goals.
