The supervisory board of the MOSOLF Group is responsible, among other things, for providing accompanying consultation and monitoring the work of the management board.

Chairman of the supervisory board

Dr. Martin Sorg

Dr Martin Sorg is chairman of the supervisory board. He has been a member of the supervisory board since 2016 and, including its predecessor (advisory board), has been part of the MOSOLF Group since 2004.

Dr Martin Sorg (born in 1959) studied business administration at the University of Stuttgart. In 1984 he earned the degree Dr. rer. pol. Also in 1984, Dr Martin Sorg joined the law office Binz & Partner. His professional career evolved from tax consultant to auditor. Since 1987 he has been a partner at the law office.

Dr Martin Sorg is a member of various supervisory bodies.

Ganya Mosolf

Ganya Mosolf has been a member of the supervisory board of MOSOLF SE & Co. KG since 2015 and is also active as a Manager of the MOSOLF family foundation.

Ganya Mosolf (born in 1989) completed her studies as a film producer at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg in 2016. There she produced various films in both the fictional and the documentary realm.

She worked at a number of film production companies in Stuttgart and Munich, including fischerAppelt tv.media, German Films GmbH and Deutschen Exotik Filmproduktion. There she worked in the fictional realm as well as in advertising and gained experience in the production and distribution of films.

After completion of her studies, she spent two and a half years in Beijing, China.

Tobias Mosolf

Tobias Mosolf has been a member of the supervisory board of MOSOLF SE & Co. KG since 2022.

Tobias Mosolf (born 1984) began his career in vehicle development after completing his degree in industrial engineering (B. Eng.). He worked at Daimler AG, Global Services and Parts and Mercedes-Benz Cars. At Dr. Ing. h. c. F. Porsche AG, he was also involved in the development of complete vehicles.

Within the MOSOLF Group, he took over management of the Processes, Systems & Digitalization departments and afterwards the management of a sub-division of Mosolf Special Vehicles (Construction of special vehicles). Most recently, Tobias Mosolf was Head of Strategic Technology Management at the MOSOLF Group.

Norbert Heckmann

Norbert Heckmann has been a member of the supervisory board of MOSOLF SE & Co. KG since 2018.

Norbert Heckmann (born in 1967) completed his studies in business administration and began his career in 1992 as Product Manager at Adolf Würth GmbH & Co. KG. He then held various posts within the Würth Group until 2008, when he became the management spokesman at Adolf Würth GmbH & Co. KG and Executive Vice President of the Würth Group.

Norbert Heckmann is a member of the advisory board of the Heilbronn University of Applied Sciences for the Business Administration & Management degree course.

Stefan E. Buchner

Stefan E. Buchner has been a member of the supervisory board of MOSOLF SE & Co. KG since 2021.

Stefan E. Buchner (born in 1960) trained as a communication equipment mechanic and completed his advanced technical college certificate, after which he completed his studies in industrial engineering with business studies in 1981. In 1987 Stefan E. Buchner began his career at Daimler Benz AG in a number of management positions. From 2013 to 2020 he was a member of the management board at Daimler Truck AG.

Stefan E. Buchner sits on the global advisory board at BHARAT FORGE Limited (India) and is a senior advisor to Juffali Group (Saudi Arabia) as well as a senior advisor to McKinsey & Company.

Thomas Zernechel

Thomas Zernechel has been a member of the supervisory board of MOSOLF SE & Co. KG since 2021.

Thomas Zernechel (born in 1958) began his career at Volkswagen following his training and education, where he earned his degree in mechanical engineering. Starting in 1992 he was the head of scheduling in the Wolfsburg plant. After working in Pamplona and Bratislava, among other places, he became the head of the group logistics for Volkswagen in 2004. Thomas Zernechel was responsible for group logistics at the VW headquarters in Wolfsburg for 16 years.

Thomas Zernechel has since retired, but is a supervisory board member, advisory board member and independent lecturer at the Technical University of Berlin.
