The foundation for the group’s success

Through responsible corporate governance, the MOSOLF management forms the foundation for the success of the group. By their personal commitment and expertise, the managers always support the concerns of the group’s staff. The management board of MOSOLF Group is split up into various divisions.

Chairman of the board

Dr. Jörg Mosolf

Dr Jörg Mosolf is the spokesman of the management board (CEO). As a managing partner, he heads the areas of Corporate Strategy, Marketing, Public Relations, Compliance, Mergers & Acquisition and Business Development.

Dr Jörg Mosolf (born in 1956) is a Certified Freight Forwarding Agent and can look back on over 30 years of experience in the logistics industry. After completing his MBA in St. Gallen, he did his doctorate at the University of Prague. He gathered experience in London and within various branches of the MOSOLF Group. Since 2002, Dr Jörg Mosolf has been working at the company headquarters in Kirchheim unter Teck.

Dr Jörg Mosolf is also a member of the executive committee of the German Transport Forum (DVF).

HEAD OF LOGISTICS & SERVICES

Wolfgang Göbel

Wolfgang Göbel is member of the management board at the MOSOLF Group. He is responsible for the business unit Logistics & Services as well as for the holdings Carcenter and CAT MOSOLF Polska Logistics. Wolfgang Göbel is responsible for the divisions of Strategic Sales, Sustainability, Occupational Health and Safety, Quality Management and Insurance.

Wolfgang Göbel (born in 1963) began his career more than 40 years ago as a trainee at MOSOLF. After completing his commercial apprenticeship and working for two years as an assistant in the sales department, he started studying economics at the Nürtingen University of Applied Science. Once he completed his studies, Wolfgang Göbel moved to the Sales/Marketing and Logistics division as manager. In 2010 he took on the position of managing director of MOSOLF Automotive Railway GmbH and in 2012 he additionally became managing director of SAT Sächsische Autotransport und Service GmbH, and of ATC Autotechnik-Center GmbH Glauchau. Mr Göbel has also been the managing director of MOSOLF Logistics & Services GmbH since 2016.

Wolfgang Göbel is also the president of the Association of European Vehicle Logistics (ECG).

Chief Financial Officer

Dr. Kersten Ruoss

Dr. Kersten Ruoss is Chief Financial Officer of the MOSOLF Group. His scope of duties includes finance and accounting, controlling, treasury, HR, legal  and purchasing. Furthermore, Kersten Ruoss is responsible for the holding ETECTURE.

Dr Kersten Ruoss (born in 1974) holds a doctorate in business administration and has a CINA (Certificate in International Accounting). He started his career in tax and business consulting for medium-sized companies. Before taking up the position of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) on 1 December 2016, he already worked for the MOSOLF Group in Internal Audit and as managing director of subsidiary companies.

HEAD OF SPECIAL VEHICLES & DEPUTY CHAIRMAN

Gregory Hancke

Gregory Hancke is member of the management board of the MOSOLF Group and responsible for the Special Vehicles business unit. IT (incl. Cyber – & Data Security), Data protection and Risk Management are also a part of his task field.

Gregory Hancke (born in 1964) obtained a degree in business administration at a university of applied science before starting his career in the logistics industry in 1992 as works manager at a subsidiary of the MOSOLF Group, where he took over as managing director in 1995. He subsequently held various management positions within the MOSOLF Group before moving to Smart GmbH in 1999, where his last position was Sales Director. In 2004 he moved to Daimler AG in the Global Service and Parts division. In 2005 he returned to the MOSOLF Group as managing director and Chief Operating Officer.
